In 1968 Sister Corita Kent, the beloved, inspired and bold-of-heart art teacher at Immaculate Heart College, made a screen print in purples, pinks, orange and green that said

LOOK
LOVE IS HERE TO STAY
AND THAT’S ENOUGH

I carry those words with me, mutter them at times : Love is here to stay. And not the scarce kind or the impossible to find kind or the kind that doesn’t cut it. And that’s enough!

Take her advice and LOOK and you’ll see it’s true.

Here’s one way I see Love with us—the beautiful, steady, always different sunrise (and sunset, for that matter, for the evening-inclined). Here with us in hopeful light, color, dependability, tending to us and the earth.

This sun print is my own suggestion to know Love Is Here to Stay. May it and its dynamic, layered, hued clouds remind you of the same.

Each print has a title printed below and a signature on the right. The 11x14s have a half inch white border and are printed locally on 120# eggshell paper.

The 16x20s are archival, giclee, fine art prints, printed locally on high quality hot press cotton rag. They are titled and signed.
